ABOUT US Medical Training Centre (MTC) is a National private organization in Oman which was established in January 2009. It was the first Training Centre affiliated with the American Heart Association (AHA) in Oman and it is the only center accredited by the AHA in the country that conducts courses for both professionals and non professionals. In the initial program MTC trained selected senior staff working in Emergency Medical Services, Nurses and Physicians working in Emergency Departments. MTC trains and certifies healthcare professionals, in both adult and Pediatric cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) courses. MTC is also proud to announce its new module “International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)” course. MTC has also been targeting to spread the awareness about the importance of training the public in First Aid (FA), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrilator(AED). Many different unfortunate accidents can occur anywhere starting from your work place to you resting place at home but the main important things is to be professionally trained on basic procedures which can make a major difference in saving the life of a person. MTC undergoes a regular audit every six months by AHA in order to maintain the quality and the international standards of training to help maintain our accreditation with them. We have conducted courses for Ministry of Health, Major hospitals, Clinics, Oil Companies, Hotels, UNICEF, RAFO, Diwan, Different companies and many other major corporations. MTC was involved in training a rescuer in each home in the Bid Bid project. Our instructors are Consultant physicians and nurses working in Accident and Emergency and Specialists Consultants and Registrars in Pediatric Emergency, Anesthesia and Surgery. Our MissionOur Vision Medical Training Centre exists to provide life saving, internationally accredited, high quality courses, to develop medical professionals and give opportunities to train the public. Medical Training Centre will strive to assume a strong leadership in training excellence and will maintain a reputation as the best training medical centre in Oman. The Centre will: Maintain high quality courses by updating the international guidelines & maintaining our accreditation Expand the programs to meet the growing educational needs of the country Open other Sites in Oman. By the year 2030 to have a rescuer in every house in Oman
