Guitar Place

Harald Ott founded Guitar Place in 1987 at the age of 24. After the trained architectural draftsman had worked in his job for a few years and had played as a guitarist in various bands since he was 15, he fulfilled his dream of starting his own music business. He borrowed the start-up capital from his parents and then opened a small corner shop at Hanauer Strasse 20 in December 1987. It was soon bursting at the seams and in 1997 the move to Hanauer Strasse 35 took place. Warehouse and workshop. Over the years the Guitar Place went through various store concepts and today stands for high-quality guitars from renowned manufacturers, a knowledgeable, competent team and a first-class guitar workshop. As head of his five-person team, Harald now mainly takes care of the electric guitars of the brands Gibson, Paul Reed Smith, Gretsch and Fender.
