We pulled blank because we want to point out that only the bare facts count for us. This means that we only use raw (i.e. untreated and unprocessed) ingredients to produce our muesli base. In addition, we only use naked oats (lat. Avena nuda), as this is particularly rich in nutrients. Naked oats are so called because they have hardly any husks or no husks. It is a kind of additional shell that surrounds the oats and is not edible, so it has to be removed beforehand. That distinguishes it from the husk oats, which are usually just called oats. However, oat husks need to be heated to remove the husk. We want to avoid this, as nutrients are lost when heated. To point this out, we decided to get naked - after all, our oats are too.
