Duties & Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the general ledger of all the entities, including processing of journals and preparation of reconciliations.
Review and sign-off of invoices, GRVs and payments for all entities.
Financial reporting preparation.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum tertiary qualification equivalent to BCompt Honours
Minimum 8 to 10 years Financial Accounting experience in a Medium sized company.
Process driven and sound understanding of internal controls and processes.
Understanding of an Import/Export environment (preferred)
FOREX and understanding the processes and regulations around FEC's and foreign payment transactions for import and export. (preferred)
Warehousing and logistics exposure (preferred)
Package & Remuneration
Between R40 000 - R55 000, experience and qualifications dependent.
This is a 6-month Contract role. Permanently employed candidtes should not apply.
