Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering (MSc would be advantageous)
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the renewable energy field, with demonstrated project management experience on utility-scale solar projects
Responsibilities:
Project management and overall coordination of specific utility-scale Solar PV Projects within the SOLA Group in the size range of 5 - 75 MW, in order to bring these projects to Financial Close
Ensuring the successful completion of outstanding permitting/development steps, in collaboration with other team members
Managing the full project development budget
Leading the engagement with Eskom and NERSA
Managing land-owner relations
Assist with and/or lead new tenders and proposal submissions
Assist to manage all development aspects of the future rounds of the IPP procurement rounds for the Group in RSA and other markets - building out the Group solar utility pipeline
