The Shoprite Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Snr Data Analyst. This role will develop business solutions through constant modification of existing business intelligence solutions. As well as design, code, debug, test documents and support applications consistent with established business requirements and specifications in order to deliver the highest possible value to the business. Also, oversee and conduct the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions.
The Snr Data Analyst will work directly with stakeholders, top management and executives within assigned departments. Overseeing, guiding & supporting the junior data analysts will form part of the responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration or any other related field. At least 5 years of data analyst experience in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment is required.
Retail experience and experience in dealing with large volumes of customer data from various sources would be beneficial.
